Ice Rescue State Boat Launch
Friday, March 12th, 2021
On Friday, March 12th, crews were dispatched to the New York State Public Boat Launch in Chaumont for reports of an ATV through the ice with one person still on-board. Members from Three Mile Bay FC, Chaumont Fire Dept. and Jefferson County STAR Team were called to remove the victim form the unsafe ice and assist them to shore. A tow company was contacted to retrieve the ATV. Town of LYME departments were called for multiple Ice Rescues throughout the day as the warm weather continued to deteriorate the ice over the bay.

At approximately 9:20pm on Saturday, 15 April 2023, TMB crews were dispatched to the area of County Rt 57 and County Rt 6 for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. No other information is available at this time.

On Wednesday, 5 April 2023, at 8:36 am TMB was requested Mutual Aid to 30802 Burnt Rock Rd, Town of Cape Vincent for a possible Structure Fire. Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the eves of the second floor.

On the morning of Thursday, 19 January 2023, Three Mile Bay Fire was dispatched for a possible structure fire almost directly across from the 44 Station. Chief J. Bourquin arrived on scene reporting heavy smoke and fire showing from the "C" and "D" sides of the structure.

On the evening of September 25th, TMBFC was dispatched to a tree in the roadway on Co Rt. 57. 44-4-2 and 44-7-1 responded with 11 members. Limbs were removed, road re-opened, and crews were back in service.

At approximately 15:30, TMBFC responded mutual aide to Cape Vincent for a fully engulfed tractor fire, spreading to grass. Cape Vincent requested our tanker and man power to the scene. TMB responded with 44-5-1 and 44-7-1, each with 2 members.

On September 6 2022, TMBFC was dispatched to County Rt 57 for a Large Square Bailer on fire. 44-4-2 and 44-7-1 responded. Crews made quick work of the fire, which consisted mostly of hay, limiting damage to the Bailer while preventing any damage to the Tractor.

On August 20th, 2022, TMBFC was dispatched to a one car MVA with a vehicle into a residence. 44-4-2 and 44-7-1 responded with 11 members. Upon arrival, crews discovered one vehicle into a shed type structure.

A two-story wood-frame home in the Hamlet of Three Mile Bay caught fire in the early morning of July 21st.The fire is suspected to have started around 4 a.m. The family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children, were home at the time but luckily all made it out safely.

At approximately 22:15, Three Mile Bay Units were requested to 31100 BURNT ROCK RD for a reported barn fire. Upon arrival 10-0-1 confirmed a barn to be fully involved. By the time fire units arrived the structure was in the ground and only defensive operations were performed.
